The 2021 Volkswagen Atlas made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show this February. The latest version of the SUV has been updated in multiple ways for the new model year. So, when will the 2021 VW Atlas be available? We know more about the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas release date.

The 2021 Volkswagen Atlas will be launching in the Spring of 2020. Arrival dates at individual dealerships may vary.

2021 Volkswagen Atlas Features and Technology Systems

2021 Volkswagen Atlas interior steering wheel2021 Volkswagen Atlas models offer two engine options. The SUV can be equipped with either a turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 235 horsepower or a 276 horsepower V6. Both engines can be paired with the 4Motion All-Wheel Drive system. This system was previously not available with the four-cylinder engine. The V6 engine can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

In order to keep drivers and passengers safe, the 2021 VW Atlas will be offered with a variety of driver assistance systems and features. Standard features on all models include Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Monitoring (Front Assist), Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Traffic Alert. Additional available features include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop and Go, Lane Keeping System (Lane Assist), Park Distance Control (PDC), Park Steering Assistant (Park Assist), Overhead View Camera (Area View), Traffic Jam Assist and Dynamic Road Sign Display.

Additional technology features offered on the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas include 3-zone Climatronic climate control, Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, Fender Premium Audio System, heated and ventilated seats, wireless charging, remote start, the Car-Net Wi-Fi Hotspot, leather seating surfaces and an 8-inch Composition Media infotainment system.
