Driver Assistance features offered on the 2020 Volkswagen Jetta include: Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency Braking (Front Assist), Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Traffic Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping System (Lane Assist) and High Beam Control (Light Assist).
2020 Volkswagen Jetta models also come equipped with a rearview camera as standard equipment.
Two Volkswagen-exclusive features are included as standard equipment on the 2020 Jetta. The first is Volkswagen’s Automotic Post-Collision Braking System. This system will automatically apply the vehicle’s brakes when a collision is detected, reducing additional kinetic energy and the chance for damage.
The second VW-exclusive feature included on the Jetta is the Volkswagen Intelligent Crash Response System. This system will automatically shut off the Jetta’s fuel pump, unlocks the doors and switches on the hazard lights.
Powering the 2020 VW Jetta is a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Performance numbers for this engine check in at 147 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy ratings are estimated at 30 miles per gallon in the city and 40 mpg on the highways for 34 mpg combined.
