Two engine options are offered on the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas. The SUV can be equipped with either a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, or a 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Performance ratings for the SUV max out at 276 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque when equipped with the V-6 engine. Only one engine option is offered on the 2019 Honda Passport.
Passenger seating is an important factor for car shoppers considering an SUV. The three-row 2019 Atlas offers seating for up to seven people. 2019 Passport models offer two rows of seating for up to five people.
The 2019 Volkswagen Atlas is available in seven trim levels, while the 2019 Honda Passport is available in four trims. 2019 Atlas models are available in S, SE, SE w/ Technology, SE w/ Technology R-Line®, SEL, SEL R-Line and SEL Premium trim levels.
